Doonhamers go for the X Factor
QUEEN of the South fans are being invited to the club's Palmerston Park lounge bar this evening for an unusual session.
A recording session, to be precise, at which Doonhamers supporters will take to the microphone to lay down the vocals for an updated version of the home team's entrance music. According to Chris Benfield, the brains behind the project, he and his band know the ditty as The Queen of the South Song, but fans refer to it simply as The Only Team in the Bible. (See Luke 11:31) "We hope as many fans as possible come along and join in," said Chris.
