Division Three: Alloa stretch lead to four points after top of the table showdown with Stranraer

Annan Athletic 2, Queen’s Park 3
Queen’s Park climbed up to third place in the table with this 3-2 win at Annan. David Winters put the home side in front after just two minutes but two Martin McBride penalties gave Queen’s the lead. Craig Smith then got the third before Sean O’Connor’s late goal.
Clyde 0, Peterhead 1
Peterhead emerged the victors at Broadwood.
Martin Bavidge headed the visitors ahead after three minutes and the veteran’s goal proved the winner.
In a rare sight of goal after 55 minutes Ryan Strachan fired a chance over for Clyde.
East Stirlingshire 3, Montrose 1
Alex Lurinsky opened the scoring for East Stirlingshire in the 38th minute and he added a second from the spot shortly after the break.
Kevin Turner’s header gave the hosts a comfortbale three-goal lead before Jamie Winter finally pulled one back.
Elgin City 4, Berwick 0
Paul Millar broke the deadlock at Borough Briggs in the 35th minute and moments later Archie MacPhee doubled Elgin’s lead.
In the 49th minute, Stuart Leslie notched Elgin’s third before Millar added his second to complete the scoring in 53 minutes.
Stranraer 0, Alloa Athletic 4
League leaders Alloa went four points ahead of second-placed Stranraer after Mark Docherty put the visitors ahead and Stevie May scored a second before the break.
Steven Masterton got the third and May’s second finished off the Wasps’ rout of their nearest challengers.
