East Fife 1 Alloa 0

East Fife became the first team to win at Alloa since November as Greig McDonald's second-half strike proved decisive. Alloa created the better first half chances, and John Grant headed wide of target before Stuart Noble saw an effort scrambled cleared by Fifers custodian Willie McCulloch. McDonald netted the winning goal at the start of the second stanza, rifling the ball home from close range after the Alloa defence failed to clear a Dougie Cameron cross.

Arbroath 3

Queen's Park 0

Arbroath made it three wins in a row, but there was controversy surrounding the opening goal . Referee Scott MacDonald pulled the game back for a free kick despite Arbroath David McGowan firing the ball into the net. But justice was served as Barry Sellars netted directly from the free kick. Robbie Raeside made it two from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time and Ian Dobbins completed the scoring from close range.

Ayr 4

Brechin 2

Ayr staged a remarkable comeback to recover from a two-goal deficit to secure victory. Brechin took a two-goal lead inside the opening half-hour through Kevin Byers and Rory McAllister. Christ Aitken pulled a goal back for Ayr from the penalty spot before the break, and Ryan Stevenson netted the leveller just after the restart. But it was substitute Mark Roberts who was the hero for Ayr, netting a quick double to secure the win.

Peterhead 1

Stranraer 0

The Blue Toon made it four wins out of five at home as bottom club Stranraer continued to struggle. Goalscoring chances were at a premium throughout with Peterhead guilty of a series of misses, and the game appeared set for a stalemate before Martin Bavidge netted the winner after 76 minutes. Craig Gunn saw two shots blocked by the Stranraer defence before Bavidge reacted quickly to smash home the winner past Duncan Crossthwaite.

Raith Rovers 1

Stirling Albion 1

Raith saw their lead at the top of the table cut to three points after being held by the Binos. David McKenna fired Stirling in front with his fifth goal of the season after 90 seconds of play. Martin Grehan slid the ball through to McKenna who fired into the corner of the net past David McGurn. Raith were back on level terms midway through the first half when Kevin Smith headed home from a Robert Sloan cross. But neither team could find the winner.
