Cricket: Scotland set up double header with India A team
SCOTLAND have arranged two one-day matches against the touring India A team at Titwood in Glasgow in June and will move other home fixtures around the country next year to let as many fans see the team as possible.
The matches against India A are scheduled for 23 and 25 June.
Scotland head coach Peter Steindl said: "The games with the very strong India A side will be important fixtures for us.
"Coming just a week after the one-day international against England and a week ahead of the World Cricket League Division 1 event in Holland, they will test our young squad to the full."
"It is exactly the environment we are trying to create in giving our best players experience of playing regularly against some of the best teams in the world."
Six home games in the ECB40 league have been allocated across three weekends and will be staged at Titwood, the Grange in Edinburgh, and Mannofield in Aberdeen.
Scotland begin their ECB40 campaign away to Leicestershire on 16 May, and finish against Warwickshire on 30 August.
The one-day international against England will be played at the Grange on 19 June and the remainder of Scotland's fixture list for 2010, including four Intercontinental Cup games, of which one is at home, ODIs against Associate members, the World Cricket League and the World T20 qualifier, have yet to be finalised.
