Scottish cricket card hampered by weather

ONLY two games survived the Scottish summer yesterday, both in the Strathmore & Perthshire Union Premier Division.

All the games in both the Eastern and Western Premier Divisions, as well as their respective lower tiers and the East League and Western Union were hit by the conditions.

In the two surviving games, Arbroath United had a comfortable 133-run win over Meigle at Lochlands, while Stoneywood-Dyce secured a two-wicket away win at Forthill.

Results:

Arbroath United 191-6 (R McLean 63), Meigle 58 (E Small 5-22). Arbroath United (25pts) bt Meigle (3pts) by 133 runs. At Lochlands.

Forthill 190-5 (G Garden 86, C Walker 31; F Murray 3-37), Stoneywood-Dyce 191-8 (K Davies 55, F Murray 31; G Garden 3-38). Stoneywood-Dyce (25pts) bt Forthill (8pts) by 2 wkts. At Forthill.
