Shannon Bonfield and Charlie Ellis led the way as Holy Cross posted a 57-run victory over Musselburgh to consolidate their position in the top half of the East Cricket First Division.
Bonfield smacked 72 in a total of 264-8 before Ellis (5-21) helped clean up Musselburgh with figures of five for 21 in just 5.3 overs. Leaders Carlton II and Grange II extended their unbeaten records. Steven Elder had a four-wicket haul as Carlton II rolled over their Watsonian counterparts for just 76. In the reply the target was knocked off for the loss of just two wickets.
Grange II batsmen carried on where they left off last week in putting Edinburgh Southern to the sword.
Opener Jack Collister made 97 and there was strong support from Tom Sole (72) as Grange II cruised home by 233 runs.
Even more comfortable winners were Edinburgh Accies who triumphed over struggling Dunfermline by ten wickets.
The Fifers managed just 69 and it took Accies only 13.2 overs to cruise past that target.
SMRH II surrendered their 100 per cent record in Division Three when losing to Livingston.
