THE Saltires will end their final CB40 campaign with a Titwood treble after bosses confirmed that the Glasgow venue is returning to the schedules.
Durham, Hampshire and Lancashire will all head to Clydesdale’s ground for a mini-festival of three games in just five days in August. The historic Glasgow venue has been overlooked in favour of grounds in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Uddingston in recent seasons, but is back on the rota after the successful staging of last year’s Scottish Cup final.
Edinburgh’s Citylets Grange will host the opening three home fixtures of the campaign. Saltires coach Pete Steindl, whose side managed just one win against county opposition last year, is looking for his men to go out with a bang. He said: “The way the fixtures look, we should get some momentum.”
