Cricket: Capital duel

Watsonians booked their place in Sunday’s Scottish cricket cup final with a 132-run win over Stenhousemuir and will now face Capital rivals
Heriot’s for the silverware at Glasgow’s Titwood, unless there is a late change of heart regarding a switch to Edinburgh by the authorities.

With Heriot’s qualifying a week earlier, a derby was never in doubt after ’Sonians smacked 214-5, with Ewan Chalmers
hitting 87 and Stuart Chalmers racking up 48.

Paddy Sadler, just back from the world Under-19s, then took 5-23 to dismiss Stenny for 82.
