Changing room chat: Accies hope to do a fat lot of good
HAMILTON have become the first SPL club to try and slim down overweight fans. The Lanarkshire outfit have launched a 13-week programme called Football Fans In Training, which is designed to encourage fans to undertake physical activity, improve their diet and live a healthier lifestyle.
Fans will work with Accies coaches one night per week but it's only available to 35-65-year-old overweight males who have a Body Mass Index of 27 and above, a belly that measures more than 100cm and a trouser waist size of at least 38 inches.
