Career high for Laing
SCOTLAND'S Vikki Laing claimed a career high on the Ladies' European Tour when she finished in a share of sixth after a final round of one over par 73 at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco, writes Elspeth Burnside. Germany's Anja Monke took the title on eight under after a closing 69, while England's Henrietta Zuel was the top Briton in joint fourth on five under. Laing picked up a cheque for £5,000.
Comrie's 17-year-old Carly Booth, on her professional debut, finishing in a tie for 40th place after a closing 74.
