Boyd's backheel is sweet for Ferguson
SCOTLAND B international George Boyd capped a fairytale fightback for Darren Ferguson's Peterborough with a last-minute winner against Reading at London Road on Saturday.
The classy wide man expertly turned in a low Russell Martin delivery with a cheeky back-flick to complete a 3-2 victory and ensure Posh did not enter the record books for all the wrong reasons. An eighth successive match without victory would have made it the worst start to a season in club history, but Ferguson said:
"Hopefully this can now be the turning point of our season."
