Boxing: Craig McEwan savours the big time
UNDEFEATED Scottish middleweight Craig McEwan is hoping to continue the excellent form shown by Freddie Roach's fighters tonight when he faces American James Parrison in Quebec City.
The Hollywood-based southpaw from Edinburgh faces Parrison, who is also unbeaten, on the undercard of sparring partner Librado Andrade's rematch with IBF world super-middleweight champion Lucian Bute. With Roach's Wild Card gym in Los Angeles also home to Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan, McEwan is keen to savour the buzz.
"It's surreal at times," he said. "I was in the gym doing sit-ups the other day and Manny was on one side of me and Amir on the other."
