Baxter heeds rallying call
SKIER Alain Baxter will try his hand at rallying later this month when he competes in Gateshead.
The Scotsman - who became the first Briton to win an Olympic skiing medal last year before a positive drugs test saw him stripped of the slalom bronze - will drive a Peugeot in the Pirelli National and Pirelli Gateshead rallies starting on April 25. Baxter passed his Motor Sports Association rally driving test earlier this month.
