Bad day for the Baxters
ALAIN BAXTER suffered another blow yesterday when he failed to complete the first run of a Europa Cup slalom at Kranskja Gora, Slovenia.
Britain’s No.1 was joined on the sidelines after the first run by two other members of the British team, London-based Johnny Moulder-Brown, and Ladybank’s Gareth Trayner.
Baxter’s younger brother, Noel, failed to complete the second run leaving James Leuzinger, in 38th, as the only member of the five-man Great Britain skiing squad to finish the event.
