Video : Swimmer Hannah Miley on preparing for the Olympics

Waiting for Video...

Aberdeen-based Hannah and her father Patrick, who is also her trainer, reveal their plans for the future and give an insight into her training regime as she prepares for the London 2012 Olympics.

The 22-year-old is one of Britain’s best gold medals prospects in the pool as the reigning European and Commonwealth Champion and world number one in the 400m individual medley.

In 2011 she claimed silver at the World Championships in Shanghai and at the 2008 Olympics she finished 6th in the event.

Hannah says her family have played a huge part in her success, especially her father who is actually a full time helicopter pilot who dedicates every spare minute he has to coaching his daughter.

He has coached Hannah throughout her career from young girl to Olympic athlete and she credits him as her biggest inspiration - giving her the skills and work ethic that have made her a swimming superstar.
