Schools athletics: Success for Miller and Scott

Bruce Miller and Adam Scott helped Balwearie High School win the Scottish School’s Road Relay Championship back in November – and they underlined their talent by striking gold again at the Scottish Schools’ Cross Country Championships at Irvine.

Bruce won the over-17 category with Adam taking No 1 spot in the under-14s.

Stacie Taylor (Glasgow School of Sport) won the girls’ over-17 award and the other golds went to Erin Wallace (Eastwodd High), Laura Sark (St Columba’s), Catriona Graves (Glasgow Academy), Aiden Johnson (Douglas Academy) and Jonathan Glen (Clydeview Academy).
