Fleeing driver tries to escape police by climbing into prison

Cleveland: A driver fleeing police abandoned his car and jumped a fence – landing in what turned out to be a prison.

Police said that after a race at up to 90mph through suburbs, the driver and a passenger bolted and headed for a fence, unaware it was a women's prison. Both were arrested.

Lancashire: Blackpool will be "the most exciting resort in Europe" after a revamp, Phil Woolas, minister for the North West, has said.

Blackpool Council has bought several of the town's major attractions, including Blackpool Tower. A Madame Tussauds is set to be opened as part of the 38.9m venture.
