Airdrie washout
THE Scottish Football League will confirm this afternoon the revised schedule for the first round of play-off matches after yesterday morning's deluge put paid to league games involving two of the sides involved, Airdrie and Queen's Park.
The Diamonds' postponed league match with St Johnstone and Queen's Park's Second Division clash at Stirling Albion will now be played on Monday night, meaning the first legs of the play-offs scheduled for Wednesday, May 13 will be put back 24 hours until Thursday, subject to agreement with local police. The second legs will also move back, to Sunday May 17.
Airdrie, who are second bottom in the First Division face a midweek trip to Peterhead in the first leg of their semi-final. Queen's Park, second bottom in the Second Division, will take on Stenhousemuir.
