The secret is that it picks up the official British standard frequency time signal, effective up to a radius of just over 1448km (900 miles), controlled by the National Physical Laboratories in Cumbria. Ideal for the mantelpiece, bedside, kitchen or office it features a clear analogue face with glow-in-the-dark hand and second hand, LCD digital date and temperature display, back light, crescendo alarm and snooze. Measuring approximately 11x11x5cm, it requires one AA battery (not supplied) and comes in silver.
