Nigel Farage to hold anti-independence rally in Glasgow
NEWS: Ukip leader Nigel Farage is reportedly set to hold an anti-independence rally in Glasgow in September, just days before the referendum vote takes place.
The Eurosceptic politician was confronted by hundreds of protesters on a campaign visit to Edinburgh in May ahead of the European elections.
Nigel Farage will return to Scotland just days before the independence vote to address a rally to save the United Kingdom.
The Telegraph can disclose Ukip officials are planning a major campaign event in Glasgow this September as they look to play an increased role in the fight against independence.
"Hit squads" of volunteers will also be sent across the country knocking doors and distributing leaflets to spread Ukip’s Unionist message as the referendum nears.
