What with the credit being all crunchy right now, we thought aspiring renovators might like to know about this bunch, who normally sell to trade only. In order to get shot of their unsold stock, they set up this website where brand-name appliances are offered at knock-down prices. These items may be end of lines, one-offs, or discontinued stock, but all are guaranteed new, big-name brands, unused, fully boxed and with a full manufacturer's warranty.
For example, when we looked earlier this month, they were selling a Franke 75cm freestanding fridge freezer for £573.85, down from its regular retail price of £1800. It doesn't take Mervyn King to do the maths on those savings.
