Cheeky Scot puts the Kelpies up for sale on Gumtree
A cheeky Scot has put an ad for The Kelpies on Gumtree.
The post, which was put up several weeks ago, reads: "Due to unforeseen circumstances I’m having to sell my beloved horses, come as a set, I’m thinking they would probably suit a garden of the larger variety, please note the water feature in picture is definitely not included, well maybe for the right offer.
The seller, who is only identified as Joe in the post, joked that they would and as unusual as it sounds I will not be taking cash for these super horses but I’ll be taking offers in toilet paper - based on qualities and quality."
The incredible metal sculptures, which were unveiled in Falkirk in 2014, were designed as a monument to horse powered heritage across Central Scotland by Scottish artist Andy Scott.
