Stirling Co 24 - 27 Dundee HSFP: Dundee leave it late to over come County

Matches involving these two are invariably entertaining, with the victor hard to predict, and so it was with this encounter, writes Martin Laing at Bridgehaugh.

The first half saw Stirling in charge thanks to a Ruaridh Leishman try, converted by Stuart Edwards, with the stand-off nudging over three penalties. Neil Dymock scored for Dundee ad Jamie Urquhart coverted, the latter also chipping two kicks.

Urquhart narrowed the gap shortly after break before Edwards restored Stirling’s lead but Jack Steele grabbed a second Dundee touchdown, Urquhart adding the extras.

A try for Mark Bennett looked to have won it for Stirling until a score by Ian Wilson at the death finally settled the affair, Urquhart again on target with the conversion.
