Rangers chief executive Charles Green has revealed that he has plans for further development of the club’s Ibrox home.

The Rangers chief executive has said that a further upgrade of the 50,000-seat stadium could be on the cards following the positive response from fans this season.

He said: “There’s a great opportunity to fill in the two corners and put another deck above the Argyll, which would substantially increase the capacity.

“We wouldn’t be frightened of doing that once we know we’ve got the demand.”

Ibrox has been at the centre of a debate over stadium naming rights in recent weeks, with both Green and fan representative refusing to rule out a possible sponsor for the stadium.

Green said: “What I said was Charles Green, personally, will fight to get Ibrox in the new title. We’ve had problems in that we can’t tell potential sponsors what league we are in next season and that causes frustration.

“But we’ve narrowed it down to two or three people who I believe can deliver what we and the fans want.”

Green also confirmed he will pen a ‘warts and all’ book about his time at the club.
