Fraser ought to eat his words

RE THE Drumlanrig story “A grand day out despite some fishy goings-on” (3 June). Had Murdo Fraser spent less time casting aspirations on the dietary habits of the good people of Perth and more on actually visiting the sushi stall himself perhaps he may have been surprised to find that the lack of queues was down to the fact that it had sold out, saying a lot about the said dietary habits.

The stall in question is a new venture by two of his younger constituents who are trying to establish themselves in business by providing a healthy alternative to the burger vans and using, as far as practicable, locally produced or sourced raw materials. Surely they should be entitled to the support of their local MSP? Since when has the length of burger van queues been an indicator of how British a place is?
