THREE brothers will spearhead Scotland in the rugby league World Cup.
Andrew Henderson, who plays for Castleford, is joined by brothers Kevin, the Wakefield centre or second rower, and former Bradford hooker Ian, now with New Zealand Warriors, in the Scots' initial 40-strong squad released today.

The squad also includes David Lynn, Andy Todd and Paddy Coupar, all of Edinburgh Eagles and Jamie Smith of the Fife Lions. Five other players based in Australia's National Rugby League – Keith Galloway (Wests Tigers), Michael Robertson (Manly Sea Eagles), Scott Logan (Canberra) and Chris and Nathan Armit (Canterbury Bulldogs) are included along with and another ten Super League players.

Coach Steve McCormack will trim his squad to 24 on October 8, just three weeks before their opening tie against France in Canberra. "There will be some tough decisions regarding selections for the 24 as there is competition across the board," said McCormack.
