Police Scotland said a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

Detective Inspector Alan Armit, who led the operation, said: “I would like to thank those who provided information to us in connection with this inquiry.”

He added: “Human Trafficking investigations are complex and uniquely challenging in nature, involving the support and coordination of a number of partners.

“Awareness of this type of criminality by members of the public is critical in the identification of potential victims and offenders, and I would appeal to anyone with information to contact Police Scotland on 101 or The Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121700.”
