The bodies of a man and a woman have been found in the Western Isles.
Police are treating the deaths as “unexplained”.
The bodies are understood to have been found outdoors in the village of Gravir, in the South Lochs area of Lewis.
Police said the investigation is at an early stage and they are attempting to contact next of kin.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Inquiries are at any early stage and the deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.”
