A woman has been hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing in Glasgow.

Police said the 19-year-old was at the crossing on Springburn Road, near to Petershill Road, when she was struck by a black car at 10.25am on Friday.

Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where staff describe her condition as “serious but stable”.
