The Clyde Arc, also known as the ‘squinty bridge’, has been closed following reports a pedestrian was struck by a car in Glasgow.

Emergency services rushed to the bridge around 11am on Saturday following reports of an incident involving a car and a pedestrian.

A Police Scotland spokesman said the condition of the pedestrian is not currently known.

While police investigate, drivers are being diverted across the crossing via the bus lane.
