SOUTH AFRICAN youngster Dean Furman has left Rangers for Oldham.
The 21-year-old midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the Latics, after making just one first-team appearance as a substitute in three years at Ibrox.
Furman had been offered an extended stay with the Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions after impressing during a 33-match loan spell with Bradford last season. He told Rangers' official website: "I was offered a new contract by Rangers but I didn't think I was going to get as much football as I'd have liked.
"The chance to join Oldham came up and straight away I got a good feel for the club. I had my first day training with them today and it was great. I feel it's time for me to move on."
