Erm...........has Broon spoken to his side-kick Harperson yet? Seems not, because she is rumoured to be in favour of watering down the implementation of Kelly's recommendations?

Hasn't Brown had the best part of 4 years to carry out his "swift reform" ?
How many MPs has he actually sanctioned to date ?

It is indeed #3-John of Fife, and an embarrassment to this disunited Kingdom.
But #2-Union United, the BBC State controlled media says the MPs are "SPITTING BLOOD over expense package cuts"!
I am sure they will fiddle and twist to stop their gravy train hitting the buffers!
I would have liked to see a lot more court cases to recover all our fraudulently claimed money as in the case of those who fiddle the EU Parliament.

Harman said.
" I do think it would be fair not to sack existing spouses who are working for MPs.
Not quite the same as giving them time to find alternative employment.

Harman has also been reported as saying that parliamentary pressure on the supposedly independent IPSA will result in watering down of the report's proposals. Are Harman & Brown 'singing from the same hymn sheet'? I doubt it!

Why didn't Mr Brown address this problem when he first came to office? Did he not realise the electorate would go crazy if they found out their hard earned cash taken from them in tax form was to be used in subsidising Westminster MP's (sorry & unelected Lords of the House) luxurious lifestyles?

GB didn't put much of an effort into his reponse, did he?
"""Read the Government’s response
The Prime Minister is completely focussed on restoring the economy, getting people back to work and improving standards in public services. As the Prime Minister has consistently said, he is determined to build a stronger, fairer, better Britain for all"""
Now that the "Lisbon Treaty" is signed Blair will now tell Brown he can call an election anytime, the dirty deed has been done.

Wow. Breathtakingly short response to the call for him to go. I don't suppose anyone was expecting anything else though. So the GE's the time to give him the shove he deserves.

This third phase, acceptance, is a positive step forward in the healing process.
It is always gratifying to see acceptance after the denial and anger stages.
From now on the emphasis for the politician will be geared towards public instead of self service.
