Zoo hunts for new recruits
EDINBURGH Zoo is to host a recruitment night to attract new volunteers.
Anyone with an interest in wildlife and conservation who is keen to get more involved with the zoo is invited.
The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland already has 75 volunteers helping with conservation and education programmes throughout the year.
The group, which runs Edinburgh Zoo, said it was now looking for new volunteers aged over 18 to help "inspire and excite" visitors.
The new volunteer induction meeting will be at 7pm on Thursday, March 12, in the zoo's education centre.
