Politicians held in Greek fraud purge

Three former Greek cabinet ministers have been charged with alleged breaches of wealth declaration laws, just days after Socialist former defence minister Akis Tsochadzopoulos was jailed for eight years.

Athens prosecutors have now brought similar charges against Socialist former defence and finance minister Yiannos Papantoniou, Giorgos Voulgarakis, and Petros Doukas, both conservatives.
