Ten robbers armed with Kalashnikovs blocked an Italian highway by setting a lorry on fire, blew open a security van and fled with an estimated
€2 million (£1.7m) in cash.

The Gruppo Battistolli armoured transport service said the men escaped by car after scattering nails to slow police. The cars were found abandoned.
