Armadale get set to unveil new team

THIS weekend sees the staging of the Kenny Carruthers Memorial Trophy competition and hosts Armadale will battle local rivals Bathgate Thistle with an array of new signings in Jim Henderson's team.

Calum Rarity returns to Volunteer Park after signing from Whitburn. Joining him is another ex-player Paddy Donnelly plus Ryan Aitken, Chris Taylor, Peter Reynolds and Scott Craig.

Linlithgow kick off their season with a game at Kerse Park in Grangemouth against Bankfoot with a 2.30pm kick-off. Recent signing Andy Shirra will feature.

Dalkeith boss Willie Pearson leads his side into a home clash with Alloa Under-19s (kick-off 2pm). Striker Kevin Haynes, who Pearson managed at Dunbar, has put pen to paper for his old boss while Jay Darling has come in from Berwick along with keeper Craig Adamson farmed out from Alloa and Steven Robertson has been signed from Haddington.

Elsewhere, Pumpherston take on Broxburn at Recreation Park (2pm).
