Five women were killed when their limousine caught fire as they were heading to a party in California.
Four other women escaped from the vehicle after the driver stopped on San Francisco’s San Mateo-Hayward Bridge on Saturday night.
The group was heading to a hotel to celebrate the recent wedding of a woman who was among those who died in the fire.
Passers-by helped three women escape from a rear door, and a fourth woman managed to squeeze through the partition that separates the driver from the passengers.
The driver was not injured in the fire, which began in the back of the limo.
