Bold MP ‘suggests’ premier should quit

A VIETNAM MP has suggested to the prime minister it might be time for him to step down.

The rare show of dissent came yesterday in the national assembly. Duong Trung Quoc told premier Nguyen Tan Dung it was “time to take responsibility, not just apologise” for massive losses accrued by state-owned enterprises.

He suggested Dung lead a “resignation culture”.
