POLICE in Washington state in the US have arrested a man named Beezow Doo-doo Zopittybop-bop-bop who is accused of assaulting two police officers.

Zopittybop-bop-bop, 34, has been charged with multiple account sof assault as well as third-degree malicious mischief and malicious harassment.

A police account reports that Zopittybop-bop-bop was tearing down leaflets and fliers at the Evergreen State College library, when a college police officer responded.

Zopittybop-bop-bop led the officer on a chase, according to local newspaper the Olympian, but during a struggle with the officer, attempted to take his gun.

Zopittybop-bop-bop is alleged to have bitten the officer on the finger and tried to stab him with a pen. The officer is said to have responded by punching Zopittybop-bop-bop and using a Taser on him.

The suspect managed to escape the officer, and ran, eventually evading a second police officer - a deputy with Thurson County Sheriff’s Office - despite receiving several blows from a baton during a struggle.

Zopittybop-bop-bop was eventually taken into custody when a second police officer arrived to assist.

He appeared in Thurston County Superior Court earlier this week, with an arraignment scheduled for February 16.

Evergreen State College said in an statement: “We are relieved to report that the officer was released from hospital and is resting at home, expected to make a full recovery.”

Zopittybop-bop-bop, who was born Jeffrey Drew Wilschke, legally changed his name in 2011.

He said in an interview with the Wisconsin State Journal newspaper that his first name means “the explosion of awareness of the interconnectedness of the infinite love in the universe.” Additionally, Doo-doo “is the struggle of our daily lives with that awareness, that with love comes chaos.”

Zopittybop-bop-bop reportedly lives off a monthly disability allowance, after being diagnosed with schizophrenia. He has prior arrests, dating back to 2012 and 2013 on drugs and weapons charges.

He told the Wisconsin State Journal newspaper in April 2012 that he felt he would ‘benefit from a stay in a mental hospital’ if he wasn’t forced to use drugs to treat his schizophrenia.

His sister, Kathryn Wilschke said he was a ‘borderline genius’, adding: “I get that it’s funny, but at the same time, this is a very sad situation.”

She added that Zopittybop-bop-bop was ‘kind-hearted and highly-intelligent’, and that he often talked about wanting to get ‘emotionally healthy’.
