AN Apple Store in Melbourne, Australia has come under fire after a group of teenagers were escorted from the premises because they ‘might steal something’.

The incident was caught on video by Francis Ose – one of the six students blocked from entering the technology shop in Melbourne by staff – and uploaded to Facebook on November 10.

Since being posted online, the video has been viewed over 70,000 times and the store has been accused of racial profiling.

The staff member can be seen telling the students of Maribyrnong College: “These guys are just a bit worried about your presence in our store.”

“They’re just worried you might steal something.”

The boy’s principal later went back with the students, where the store manager issued an apology and told them they were welcome back “any time”.

Apple Australia are yet to comment on the issue.
