Workers bank on book sales to raise cash
BANK workers have written a book to raise money for charity.
Steven Prevost, senior manager of Lloyds Banking Group at New Uberior House, joined forces with eight of his colleagues to write the book and raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
The book, entitled The Small Print, is a collection of short stories and poems, and took three months to put together.
It will be sold at the Edinburgh International Book Festival until the end of August, with 3.75 from every 5 book sale going to the BHF.
Mr Prevost said: "When I had the initial idea, I quickly learned that a few of my colleagues were also keen writers so I asked them to help me put it together.
"It was a challenge to say the least, but we've all found it an extremely exciting and rewarding experience."
