Woman denies 'sex in the office' claim
A COUNCIL worker yesterday told an employment tribunal that claims she performed a sex act on her boss were "nonsense".
Tom McNeil, 52, says he was forced to quit his job at Aberdeen City Council after reporting seeing his boss Brian Woodcock and the woman, who cannot be named, having sex in the office.
He also claims he saw the mother-of-one performing a sex act on Mr Woodcock, a former director at the council.
She told the hearing: "It is absolute nonsense. I am not really into that kind of thing."
She claimed Mr McNeil had become obsessed by her and Brian Woodcock's relationship, and said: "He was constantly gossiping about me and Brian.
She said colleagues described him as "jealous" and "obsessed".
She admitted having a relationship with her boss since 2002 and said they were still together.
Earlier in the hearing Douglas Paterson, chief executive of the council, admitted
he was aware of the relationship.
He agreed having sex in council offices was gross misconduct but said there was no evidence of an incident.
The hearing continues.
