Woman found dead in East Kilbride named by police

A WOMAN who was found dead at a house has been named by police.

Mary McCracken, 59, known to family and friends as Marie, was injured at a property in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, at 10:45pm on Wednesday. She died at the scene.

A 61-year-old woman has been arrested and is in custody in connection with the death. She is expected to appear in court on Monday.
