A woman has died after being struck by a car on a coastal road in Aberdeen.
Police confirmed today that the pedestrian, who has not yet been named, was hit at 9pm last night on Beach Boulevard.
She was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she died shortly afterwards.

The road was expected to remain closed this morning while crash investigators examined the scene.
Inspector Scott Mann of the Grampian Police Road Policing Department said: "We would obviously ask anyone who witnessed this collision or its immediate aftermath and who has not yet spoken to Police, to get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity."
