POLICE are investigating after a woman was raped in a city flat.
The 19-year-old was subjected to a serious sexual assault at a property in Bruce Street, Stirling, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She fled the flat after the attack and walked home barefoot between 2am and 3am.
Police are now keen to trace three young men of a similar age who may have seen the victim after the assault as she was walking home.
Detective Inspector Hugh Louden said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who were in the Bruce Street area of Stirling between half two and three on Sunday morning.
“We are particularly keen to talk to three young men who may have saw the victim saw when she was walking home after the assault.
“Any information would be greatly valued in helping us identify potential witnesses.”
Police said the woman would have appeared to be in a distressed state.
