The Scotsman online has teamed up with award winning whisky producer, Isle of Arran Distillers, to give away a bottle of their new limited edition Millennium Casks Edition Scotch Whisky.
Due for general release on 28th October, this single malt whisky is an extra special expression of the Arran Malt as it was distilled at the turn of the millennium almost 13 years ago.
The tasting note evokes flavours of baked apples and orchard fruits, with a sprinkling of vanilla and cinnamon. Master Distiller James MacTaggart recommends serving it with a splash of water to bring out the layers of creaminess in this unique dram.
Adorning the pack of the new whisky is Janus, God of beginnings, ends and transitions from ancient Roman mythology - depicted with two faces – one looking forwards and the other backwards.
With just 7,800 bottles available worldwide, one lucky winner will be the envy of their friends with this limited edition scotch.
Worth £64.99, this quality spirit would make a great gift for a loved one or a special treat for any discerning drinker.
Like most of the Arran spirits released, this malt whisky is unpeated, enabling a great range of flavours to be enjoyed.
