'William of Orange was gay' row
GAY rights activist Peter Tatchell caused controversy in Northern Ireland today by claiming there was evidence King William of Orange had male lovers.
Speaking during Belfast's Gay Pride festival, he used the allegation to highlight hypocrisy over homosexuality in Northern Ireland, but was condemned by unionists for deliberately causing offence.
