Website gives carer advice
A WEBSITE has been launched to help health workers who work with unpaid carers.
The resource, unveiled recently by the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, is aimed at providing specialist information and advice on a range of topics.
One of its main goals is to help professionals identify who is and isn't entitled to various support grants.
There are an estimated 71,000 unpaid carers in the Lothians, saving the NHS and local authorities millions of pounds.
