Water works for docklands
SCOTTISH Water and Forth Ports have launched a £2 million initiative to supply drinking water to new residential areas being built on the city's former docklands.
Brownfield sites along the Edinburgh waterfront, including Granton Harbour and Western Harbour, are to receive increased drinking water supplies to last until 2026.
Douglas Coleman, Forth Ports director of development, said: "This water infrastructure investment represents the last phase of a programme of multi-utility upgrades."
