Volunteers are set to clean up at Water of Leith
TWO clean-ups are set to be held on the Water of Leith over the coming weeks to help clear debris from the river.
Officials at the Water of Leith Conservation Trust have announced the projects to mark the start of their big annual clean-up drive.
The first clean-up will take place on Sunday from 10am to 12.30pm, when volunteers will help clear the stretch of water between Slateford and Gorgie.
The second clean-up will be held on Sunday, April 27, from 10am to 12.30pm, and will involve a tidying of Bell's Weir.
